Mistress M’s special sauce…
· Before you enter the chamber with Mistress M, you should know that my mindset, philosophy, creative universe, and mysticism are all queer, diverse, and inclusive. Here we celebrate the vibrant rainbow of diverse human experience. If you also come in love, then there are plenty of seats at the table for you too. *Note: this is NOT primarily a course on the “divine feminine,” as I do not vibe with or work within the traditional gender binary. Goddess energy is for anyone of any gender.
· I am a writer who frequently plays in the realm of the erotic, the sensual, the sexual, the shadow, and the transgressive. This goddess journey will touch upon erotic themes, and is intended only for seekers 18+. Thank you.
Day 1: Meeting the Goddess
Welcome to Goddess Curious, an 8-day email journal course for the skeptic, the spiritual, and the curious!
One of my intentions in this course is to offer us space to reflect on what "the goddess" might mean for US, not what society / popular culture / social media are telling us it means. As folx who are skeptics, who have our own spirituality, or who may be curious about working with the goddess, we are invited to begin exactly where we are, and feel into the meaning of "the goddess" ourselves.
We are living in uniquely difficult times right now, y'all. We are living in a world of oppression, violence, genocide, censorship, inequality, and intolerance. HOWEVER, we also live in a world that includes community care, art, the possibility for liberation, flowers, trees, the sky, breath, the elements, our bodies, and our connection to one another.
Maybe it is time to let a new energy into our lives. Maybe it is time for some Goddess Magic.
Today we're invited to play with the idea of the goddess as creative principle, creative inspiration, and the spark of inner creativity.
Wellllllcome to Mistress M's personal favorite day of our course, the goddess as erotic!
Today we'll play in the realm of the sensual, the sexual, the physical, and the erotic.
If sexual energy is not your jam, not to worry--I believe that certain dimensions of the erotic are open to all, including asexual or celibate peeps, or anyone else who just isn't into exploring sexual energy at this time, or ever. The erotic and the sensual also includes, according to Mistress M's definition, nature, food, the body, the senses (both mystic and mundane) the breath, the elements, and any and all embodied experiences. All of us can find ourselves somewhere within those dimensions.
Come on in and enter the chamber, seekers.
Let's reimagine ideas of sacred healing today, and access goddess energies that can support us in transformation and rebirth. Make no mistake, seekers: our world is in need of some deep change.
My dear rainbow peeps,
Goddess energy can be for anyone. It is not tied to gender, any particular kind of body or embodiment, sexuality, relationship style, or traditional ideas of "femininity" / "masculinity." (As you may know, Mistress M does not vibe with or work within the traditional gender binary. <3) Let's open ourselves to the rainbow of possibilities for working with the goddess today.
Love,
M
Welcome today to the transgressive, transformational space of self-worship.
How can we begin to see the goddess in ourselves; to honor the spark of the divine in us; to recognize ourselves as part and incarnate of the mystic realm?
Give it a try, whether you're spiritual, skeptic, or curious. ;)
Hello, seekers.
Break out the journal one last time for some prompts to reflect on our journey.
Here's also a toolbox of resources, rituals, and ideas for your continuing goddess journey.
Thanks so much for being on this path with me. I am here if you should need me--mistressmwriter@gmail.com, on IG @mistressmwriter.
Love always,
