My story/how I help

One of my own deepest longings as an emerging writer was to close the creative circle. Writing desires an audience, even (sometimes especially) when that audience is only a single person. I began to flourish as a writer, and to sow the seeds for sharing my work with the wider world, when I had the eyes of a friend on my work, and the deep connection that is forged when a writer shares their words with a close, intimate, and responsive creative circle.

I have worked with writers with all kinds of intentions and on all stages of their journey, from bestselling authors with thousands of followers to emerging storytellers just getting into writing for the first time. -What is a creative dominatrix, anyway?

-Mistress M says: as a creative dominatrix, I believe that we are ALL creative and that we ALL can + deserve to find the rhythm of writing + creativity that works for us, in our unique lives. I help writers find that rhythm. I also help them polish the gems of their writing and prepare them to share that writing with the world (if they so choose!). My style as a creative domme is gentle, compassionate, and loving, but, with your leave, I also enjoy cracking the metaphorical whip to keep you accountable. You deserve to invest in your creative self.

-What kinds of writing projects do you help with?

Mistress M says: I am a multi-passionate, multi-hyphenate writer myself! I write and publish in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. I am also a university professor, historian, art historian, archaeologist, and academic writer who actively publishes in the academic sphere and presents intellectual work at conferences around the world. I have helped writers who work in many genres of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children's literature, and even comics. I bring ALL facets of my multi-passionate self to guide, help + support you in the writing chamber.

-What do you write, Mistress M?

Mistress M says: I write many things. But one of my deepest loves as a writer is queer literary erotica. Writing in this unique + expansive genre has made me a more aware, compassionate, and embodied writer. If you have never written in the genres of sex or sensuality before, Mistress M highly recommends it, and invites you to explore writing in this genre with us in the chamber!
